Here’s my experience in the medical field, since you’ll see me using medical terms in this blog from time to time.
I’ve been an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) for the past 21 years (since ’97). For ~18 years I worked primarily in skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities, but I also had experience working in the hospital (acute care and inpatient rehab). Now I am a school-based therapist working with children in special education (since 2016).
Naturally, I’m using my knowledge and experience from my career field to help heal myself, as I continue to learn, progress and heal.
Everything expressed in this blog strictly reflects what I’m doing for myself. Dealing with prolapse is a work in progress. I freely admit that I may or may not being doing things the “right” or “best” way. I’m just doing the best I can with what I know in my heart and mind and feel in my body.
